SISTER SCHOOL PROJECT

Sahel International Support Foundation (SISF), Nigeria and This Little Light Africa, (TLLA), USA shares a common vision of promoting developmental initiatives across sub-sahara Africa. They started a partnership to bring development to the northern region of Nigeria. This partnership stands on five pillars: Education, Health, Clean Energy, Water, and food provision. This alliance has built schools, clinics, boreholes, wells, and solar electricity in rural areas in northern Nigeria.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The sister-school project was conceived as part of SISF and TLLA initiatives for education development in sub-sahara Africa. It is therefore a concept under the Education advancement program of TLLA-SISF to positively impact high school education in Nigeria. This will be achieved through interrelationships between high schools in the USA and their secondary school counterparts in Nigeria. The vision of the sister school project is to foster interpersonal and international relationships between the pupils in these schools. Under the project, schools in the USA adopt schools in Nigeria as sister schools.
